If you are experiencing symptoms that require further observation (such as chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or sudden illness), our healthcare team will continuously monitor your vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and temperature, to ensure your condition is stable.
Our observation facility is equipped to perform various diagnostic tests, such as EKGs (electrocardiograms), blood tests, imaging (X-rays, ultrasounds), and urinalysis. These tests help our medical team quickly assess your condition and determine the appropriate next steps.
Patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, or asthma may require short-term monitoring after an acute episode or complication. Our staff is trained to manage these conditions and provide education on how to manage your health long-term.
For patients experiencing sudden health issues, such as a mild heart attack, stroke-like symptoms, or allergic reactions, our observation unit offers short-term care while determining if more intensive treatment or hospitalization is necessary.
After certain medical procedures or treatments, you may need short-term observation to ensure that you recover safely and without complications. We provide a calm and supportive environment for patients recovering from minor surgeries, treatments, or diagnostic procedures.
If you require medications, our team will administer and monitor them carefully, checking for effectiveness and side effects. This includes IV medications, pain management, or other treatments to stabilize your condition during observation.
